Two-zone climate system

Front passengers can set their own temperature and fan settings through the center display. Floor air outlets and adjustable roof vents help keep rear passengers comfortable.

Available four-zone climate system
Four-zone climate system allows front-row and second-row passengers to set individual temperatures. Rear-seat passengers manage settings from a touch panel at the back of the center console.

Cabin pre-conditioning
Tap on the Volvo Cars app to bring the cabin to a comfortable temperature before you get in. Pre-clean the air to refresh the interior before your journey begins.

Advanced air quality controls

The air quality system continuously filters and monitors incoming air and automatically shuts the cabin's intakes if harmful substances like ozone or exhaust gases are detected.

An optional air purifier removes up to 95 % of PM2.5 particles. It can also eliminate up to 97% of airborne viruses and 99.9 % of pollen.

Run an air purification cycle using the center display or refresh the cabin remotely via the Volvo Cars app.

Child seats and locks

Easy ISOFIX anchorages for child seats
Child seats can be installed in any of the three rear seats, with ISOFIX anchorages in the outer positions.

Available Integrated child seats
When your little ones outgrow their child seats, they can transition to the two built-in booster cushions in the second row. With two height settings, these boosters support a proper seatbelt fit and promote comfortable seating posture.

Mechanical or power child lock
The standard mechanical child lock on the rear doors can be upgraded to a power child lock. It lets you control the rear doors and windows directly from the driver's seat.

Reduced cabin noise
Quiet is the ultimate luxury in the XC60, where sound insulation and acoustic foam are strategically placed to reduce wind and road noise. Opt for laminated windows to further enhance the calm.

Suspension options
The standard chassis combines a double wishbone suspension with an integral link in the rear. This design smooths out corners and absorbs bumps, helping you glide through turns. Electronic support systems improve traction and stability, especially with a trailer hitched.

Upgrade to an active air suspension for a more harmonic, controlled drive. The system monitors the car, driver and road 500 times per second, adjusting ride height and stiffness in real time.

Graceful, energetic silhouette

The sculpted exterior of the XC60 conveys a sense of motion, even when sitting parked. And because it draws from our Scandinavian design heritage, every detail is beautiful and practical. It also has a new grille design and darkened tail lamps for a freshened, dynamic look.

Chiseled curves around the wheel arches enhance the car’s powerful road presence. High ground clearance looks commanding and offers excellent visibility. Windows sit flush and stretch low down the doors, filling the cabin with light. The wheels are large, eye-catching, technical – a final flourish on a dynamic design.

Dark theme

Dark theme has high-gloss black finishes for a dynamic design. The diagonal pattern on the front grille is anchored by the Volvo Cars Iron Mark.

Multiple wheel designs

Choose from multiple alloy wheels ranging from 18 to 22 inches. Each are lightweight and aerodynamic.

They’ve got style covered, too.

All designs feature our signature Iron Mark on the center cap and complement the exterior themes. The diamond-cut finish combines polished aluminum with matte or high-gloss accents to bring your car’s exterior to life.

Full LED headlights

Standard LED headlights in our signature Thor's Hammer design cast a wide light pattern for excellent visibility. Automatic high beams switch between high and low beams when you encounter other cars.

They’re also intelligent. High beams switch off as you enter a city but stay on as you pass illuminated signs.

Spacious and flexible trunk

Luggage. Sports gear. The weekly errands. With the seats folded, maximum cargo volume is 63.3 cubic feet. Its wide shape, no lip landing and flat floor make it easy.

Need more room? The 40/60 split-folding backrests make the cabin layout flexible. And they lie flat to create a level surface whether you fold them down together or separately.

Use the through-hatch in the center rear seat to pack long items like skis, keeping the outer seats free for passengers.

The tailgate is power-operated. Kick under the rear bumper to open or close it hands-free. You can also use buttons on the tailgate, dashboard and key fob.

Enjoy contour seating in ventilated Nappa leather with metal mesh trimmings. This combined with a deluxe charcoal interior, and you’ll be sitting pretty. Available sport seats add an even more dynamic edge.

Ergonomic comfort

The front seats are designed to feel made for you.

They’re ergonomic for maximum comfort. And you can fine-tune your position with eight power adjustments and lumbar support. At higher equipment levels, you can save these settings to your profile. That way, the seat slides into your ideal position when you unlock the door.

Heated front seats are standard. You can also add seat ventilation or a soothing ten-point massage function. Cushion extensions are available if you have long legs and want extra thigh support.

Tailored steering wheel

The three-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in a premium leather-free material or dual-tone leather if you choose blond nappa leather upholstery. It has a sporty grip and a refined look, with color-coordinated hand-stitching, satin silk trim and glossy black accents.

Buttons on the left manage functions like adaptive cruise control and available Pilot Assist. Right-side buttons adjust audio, infotainment and communication.

Heat the optional heated steering wheel on chilly mornings with a tap on the center display. Use the Volvo Cars app to warm it up before you hop in.

Convenient storage

Slide back the sleek roll-top cover of the center console to reveal a handy storage space. It’s the perfect hiding spot for your wallet, sunglasses and keys. You’ll find two cupholders for your drinks and one extra for a slim can.

Rear seats also have space for the essentials (and the not-so-essentials). There are door pockets to keep snacks or sunglasses within easy reach. And the rear folding armrest has two built-in cupholders for drinks or small items.

Panoramic roof

The panoramic roof offers a sweeping view of the sky. Dark-tinted laminated glass helps reduce glare and outside noise. Open it to enjoy a refreshing breeze. If it gets too noisy, open or tilt just the front section.

On hot days, roll out the power-operated sunshade. It's a perforated textile that lets in light to keep the cabin feeling airy but not overheated. The sunshade can automatically deploy when temperatures reach 77°F.
